Somac Heartburn Relief 7 Tablets

Somac 20mg tablets provide lasting relief of frequent heartburn and stomach acid complaints.

Somac Heartburn Relief tablets helps relieve the symptoms of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease.

Directions

Adults (over 18 years): Take 1 tablet once a day (every 24 hours).  Swallow tablets whole with a little water with or without food.  Do not crush or chew the tablets.

Ingredients

Each tablet contains the active ingredient: pantoprazole 20mg

Also contains sodium carbonate anhydrous, mannitol, crospovidone, povidone, calcium stearate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, iron oxide yellow (CI 77492), propylene glycol, methacrylic acid copolymer, polysorbate 80, sodium lauryl sulfate, triethyl citrate and printing ink.

Does not contain gluten, lactose, sucrose, tartrazine or other azo dyes.

Precautions

Should not be taken for more than 14 days unless directed by a doctor.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any allergies to pantoprazole, any of the ingredients or any other medicines; if you are pregnant, intend to become pregnant, are breast-feeding or intend to breast-feed; if you have or have had any other medical conditions; if you are taking any other medicines.

Talk to your doctor first before taking Somac if you have previously taken heartburn/indigestion medications continuously for 4 or more weeks to control your heartburn; if you have jaundice, liver problems, anaemia, previous gastric ulcer or gastrointestinal surgery; if you have new or recently changed symptoms including persistent vomiting or vomiting of blood, blood in the stools or unexplained weight loss.

See your doctor immediately if you have experienced any of the above;
