Metamucil Capsules provide an easy way to increase your daily fibre intake. One dose of 6 Metamucil Capsules provides 2.4 grams of this soluble fibre.

Ingredients :

Psyllium Husk, Gelatin, Polysorbate 80, Caramel Colour, Red 40 Lake, Blue 1 Lake, Yellow 6 Lake.

Metamucil Capsules are effective in treating occasional constipation and restoring regularity.

Directions: Take this product with at least 250ml (a full glass) of liquid. Taking this product without enough liquid may cause choking.

Swallow one capsule at a time. See choking warning.

Adults 12 years and older:To help restore and maintain regularity 6 capsules. Take with at least 250ml of liquid (swallow one capsule at a time).

 

Can be taken up to 3 times daily.

Generally produces effect in 12 to 72 hours.

Laxatives, including bulk fibres, may affect how well other medicines work. If you are taking a prescription medicine by mouth, take this product at least 2 hours before or 2 hours after the prescribed medicine.

As your body adjusts to increased fibre intake, you may experience changes in bowel habits or minor bloating.
